Specifically, Defendant would from time to time interrupt employees with work assignments while they were clocked out for their legally required meal breaks. As a result, Defendant allegedly paid less than they would have been paid had they been paid for actual recorded time. When the hours shown on the wage statements were added up, they did not equal the actual total hours worked during the pay period in violation of Cal. Lab. Code 226(a)(2).
