Webinar
The president-elect has surprisingly nominated a pro-labor congresswoman, Lori Chevez-DeRemer, to lead the Department of Labor. President-Elect Trump will also appoint a new general counsel for the National Labor Relations Board, as well as select two new members of the five-member NLRB. Almost all commentators expect this to significantly alter the trajectory of the pro-union NLRB, dominated by Biden appointees, and return to a more pro-management position.
Husch Blackwell’s Tom Godar and Rufino Gaytán will offer an inside look at what we know and expect with this changing of the guard. Join us for a discussion on whether employers should expect to rewrite their handbooks with greater management rights or expect the NLRB to stay the course and pressure employers to accept unionization without a vote, prohibit non-competes or confidentiality clauses in policies or agreements, or seek amped-up remedies in unfair labor practice proceedings. This webinar is a special program within the Healthcare Labor & Employment Workforce Management Series, but the content is newsworthy for employers from all industries.
