Ogletree Deakins, a major labor and employment law firm, is expanding its presence with the opening of a new office in Baltimore in January through the acquisition of Shawe Rosenthal LLP, an employment law firm with a notable 77-year history.
The Baltimore office will incorporate the entire Shawe Rosenthal team, consisting of 16 lawyers and five business professionals. Parker Thoeni will lead the new office.
“We are very excited to join Ogletree Deakins and contribute to the firm’s longstanding legacy of providing exceptional labor and employment law services,” said Thoeni. “This move aligns with our strategic goals and enhances our ability to serve our clients with additional resources and depth.”
