A new USF group called the Employee Experience Team (EET) will be created within Central Human Resources, according to a universitywide email sent by President Rhea Law on Tuesday.
The team will investigate and provide conflict resolution for all types of incident reports, such as sexual harassment, discrimination, ethical violation and misconduct, according to USF’s Human Resources webpage.
EET’s mission is to “ensure the best experience” for USF employees by providing guidance, investigating and resolving conflicts and guaranteeing they adhere to the university’s core values. Alexis Mootoo will lead the EET and serve in the newly created role of Associate Vice President for Employee Experience, according to Law.
Mootoo joined USF in 2005 and manages financial and organizational portfolios as the assistant vice president of Resource Management & Development. She also employs organizational behavior theories to maximize administrative resources and talent.
Law said EET will guarantee every USF employee feels “valued, connected and inspired.”
The three areas EET will cover, according to USF’s Human Resources webpage, are:
- Equal Opportunity: monitors the university’s equal opportunity employment practices and oversees protected class discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
- Employee Relations: provides education, training, mentoring and guidance, works with individual employees, supervisors, managers and administrators and addresses questions and workplace issues...
