The Book of Ecclesiastes tells us there is a time to keep silent and a time to speak. For the last several weeks, I have kept my silence in the face of a malicious defamatory barrage against me, a NJ attorney, former assistant Bergen County prosecutor, and former NJ Deputy Attorney General, relative to “corruption” in Ocean County. However, the time has come for the truth to be told.
The absurd irony about the false statements is spawned by the statutory immunity granted by Congress to Nextdoor, Facebook and other online media companies (but not print media companies) which has been abused primarily by a husband and wife who are posting and obsessively proclaiming “corruption.” This couple, both of whom are not 55, simply refuse to respect both the law and the obviously indisputable prohibition in their community’s governing documents, namely: people under 55 are not allowed to live alone in the age restricted community of Holiday City at Berkeley (HCB).
