Kim Soo-hyun's lawyer Go Sang-rok refuted the claims by the family of the late Kim Sae-ron, drawing a line by saying "I do not have the power to block the broadcast, nor have I ever attempted to do so."
Go Sang-rok said on his personal YouTube channel on the 1st, "It seems that lawyer Bu Ji-seok has now decided to go all-in on a 'messenger attack' that is far removed from the substance of the case," and added, "If you were going to issue statements three times since last week, stop the media play that repeats only nonessential claims and obscures the substance of the case, and first answer the five core questions below that I have consistently requested," then posed detailed questions labeled A through E.
Regarding the cancellation of SBS's Curious Story Y, he said, "I do not have the power to block the broadcast, nor have I ever attempted such a thing. I was only notified by the broadcaster of the decision to postpone the broadcast, and I rather said, 'If you just include the rebuttal properly, I will feel reassured,'" and added, "Accordingly, I am disclosing to the minimum extent the parts concerning what lawyer Bu Ji-seok falsely claimed today from my phone call with the producing PD right after I conducted the rebuttal interview on Nov. 11, and the phone call with the writer the next day," attaching the transcript of the recording.
