On the 24th, DJ DOC's side said, "Recently, through some sensational tow-truck-like YouTube channels, online communities and short-form platforms, false claims that 'Yeonsinnae Brother Gopchang received a two-month business suspension' are being recklessly spread. We want to make this clear," adding, "Yeonsinnae Brother Gopchang has never received any administrative penalties such as a business suspension even once, and is currently operating normally. The online claims about a 'two-month business suspension' are completely false information."
They went on, "The spread of baseless fake news and distorted information is a very serious matter that directly threatens the livelihoods not only of customers who trust and visit our restaurant but also of employees who work diligently at the restaurant and our business partners," and emphasized, "We have determined that this matter cannot be taken lightly, and have retained legal counsel to begin legal action for the dissemination of false information and defamation. Going forward, we will use all legal means available to hold accountable those who spread unverified false information and engage in malicious defamation until the end."
