As a result of COVID-19’s impact on the world as we knew it, employers and employees alike have demonstrated resourceful and creative ways to keep business going throughout the challenges of a global health emergency.

This article explores legal issues that are worth revisiting as employers navigate the shift toward hybrid or fully-remote work and the hot-button issues for employers to keep in mind to avoid unnecessary exposure. In some respects, the effects of the “great resignation” and changing preference for working from home have given employees an upper hand.
