Liberty University School of Law reported that the Class of 2025 Juris Doctor graduates achieved a 96% employment rate 10 months after graduation — the highest employment outcome for any Liberty Law Juris Doctor graduating class since the ABA began requiring public disclosure of employment data with the Class of 2010. The Class of 2025 joins Liberty Law graduates who are serving across the country alongside members of the bench and bar and making an impact on local, regional, and national levels.
The employment rate increased by over 10 percentage points from 2024 graduates (85.7%) and 5 percentage points from 2023 (91%).
Kristine Smith, executive director of Employer & Student Services at Liberty Law, said the Liberty Law Center for Career & Professional Development takes an individualized and student-centric approach to career and professional development, which has successfully assisted many students in launching their legal careers.
“We meet with students multiple times to discuss their plans, preferred practice areas and geographic locations, and potential employers within those criteria,” she said. “This personalized approach allows us to support each student throughout their time at Liberty Law as they develop their professional goals.”
“As a department and as a law school, there is no better reward than to see the students begin their careers and succeed as attorneys, and we are so proud of them all,” she added.
