Since 1975, Savett has litigated diverse cases involving securities fraud, violations of the False Claims Act, data breaches, and consumer and discrimination issues. Over the years she has recovered billions of dollars on behalf of investors, consumers, and taxpayers.

Among her most notable cases is In re Rite Aid Securities Litigation, which she led as lead counsel. Rite Aid’s public-facing SEC filings told a story of steady growth which the marketplace rewarded with ever increasing stock prices, but in reality top management manipulated the numbers behind the scenes. The case settled for $334 million, and the CEO was later imprisoned on criminal charges.
