L’Oreal and department store makeup counter workers who say it violated several labor laws may move forward with a deal ending their wage-and-hour dispute after a federal judge in California approved a revised settlement.
The $425,000 settlement reduced class representative payments by half and added missing information that led the US District Court for the Eastern District of California to reject the parties’ last attempt at resolving the case, according to the order preliminarily approving the deal’s latest version.
