Co-chair of the firm’s labor and employment team, Vicente is a trial lawyer who has defended some of the largest Fortune 100 companies in high-stakes employment and wage-hour litigation and is experienced in taking hybrid class and collective action cases to jury trial. She has helped a number of clients navigate sexual harassment claims fraught with legal and public relations challenges in the #metoo era. In her counseling practice, Vicente assists companies in developing forward-thinking compliance strategies that reduce disputes and mitigate employment-related risks. Recently, she creatively advised a variety of businesses through workforce issues attendant to closing, reopening and operating a business during the unprecedented challenges created by COVID-19.
