The Luxembourgish Government Feb. 10 announced updated minimum social wage rates, effective Feb. 1. The rates are updated to: 1) 2,447.07 euros (US$2,611.56) per month, and 14.14 euros (US$15.09) per hour, for employees from age 18; 2) 1,957.65 euros (US$2,089.24) per month, and 11.31 euros (US$12.07) per hour, for employees age 17 to 18; 3) 1,835.30 euros (US$1,958.64) per month, and 10.60 euros (US$11.31) per hour, for employees age 15 to 17; and 4) 2,936.48 euros (US$3,133.76) per month for skilled workers.
