BHOPAL: The dispute between Vyapam whistleblower Ashish Chaturvedi and Gwalior police has intensified, with fresh allegations of police–hospital collusion, fake medical records, and procedural violations.The controversy, linked to FIR No. 114/2025, has reached the Madhya Pradesh High Court, which has sought responses from the state government and administrative officials. These responses are yet to be submitted.Chaturvedi alleged that a policeman, “wanted by the CBI,” visited his residence with a court-issued witness warrant and later took him to a private hospital associated with a Vyapam-accused doctor for a medico-legal certificate (MLC).The MLC was reportedly prepared on 29 March 2025 at the hospital. It was signed by a government doctor posted in Datia, but state records on the “Sarthak App” showed him in Datia on the same day, raising questions about his presence at two places simultaneously, Chaturvedi claimed.A Gajraraja Medical College (GRMC) probe, submitted on 16 May, flagged inconsistencies in admission and discharge papers. The committee concluded the MLC appeared “fabricated” and called for a deeper investigation.The matter entered the political arena...
