Magara Law personalises its benefits provision to ensure its employees can access the most relevant options for them.
The employment law firm has 11 employees based in London, Bicester, Banbury and Reading.
It provides benefits that offer employees a level of personalisation. For example, it contributes 10% to its pension scheme and gives employees the option to increase their own contributions. It also funds private medical insurance (PMI), provided by Vitality, and gives employees the option to opt in or out of certain elements according to their needs. All employees are eligible after completing their probation.
Through its PMI scheme, employees have fast access to GP appointments, specialist consultations, diagnostic tests, physiotherapy, mental health support, eligible hospital treatment and cancer care. The aim is to reduce delays and support a faster return to good health.
Roy Magara, solicitor advocate and founder of Magara Law, explains that the firm’s benefits provision has developed over time to become more personalised because it recognises that not everyone values the same benefits.
