The attorney for Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo put out a stunning statement Friday saying reports the veteran anchor was fired or is no longer with Fox are “false.”

Bryan Freedman confirms he is representing Maria Bartiromo and says:
“For many years, Maria Bartiromo hosted three number one rated television shows on Fox channels. She has been, without question, one of the hardest working journalists throughout her award winning career.”
“The irresponsible reports that have been published stating that Maria Bartiromo was fired or is no longer an employee of Fox are absolutely and unequivocally false. Make no mistake, we have the receipts and witnesses and they will come out whether through the courthouse or otherwise. Those reporting her firing or the incredulous facts supporting that fiction have exhibited a complete and utter reckless disregard for the truth.”
Fox announced in a press release Thursday that it was parting ways with Bartiromo, writing, “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”
Mediaite confirmed that Fox News Media also parted ways with Bartiromo’s top producer Patrick Ignozzi as well, after an explosive report that Bartiromo, 58, had allegedly shared confidential internal guidance about the network’s coverage of President Donald Trump with the White House.
In 2023, Freedman was named to Mediaite’s Most Influential in News Media list.
