If only it were as simple as having a straight-up non-disclosure waiver for UFO whistleblowers. The issue is that no one is quite sure what they’re being protected from or how they’re being shielded.

In an interview with Matt Ford on The Good Trouble Show, whistleblower Matthew Brown described these so-called channels as "more of the same," arguing they simply route witnesses back into the same organizations that have already failed to earn their trust.
Brown, who emerged on the informant radar in 2025, revealed that he authored a report following a 4-year investigation into the Pentagon's secretive UFO program. And for the record, he is a former Pentagon metadata analyst (and therefore probably needs better protection!)
Brown warned that the latest initiative is "not a waiver of non-disclosure agreements to talk to the public," but instead encourages witnesses to report back to agencies he believes have a poor record of handling UAP claims.
