Meta Whistleblower Sues Over Arbitration Targeting Her Speech - Bloomberg Law News

Meta Platforms Inc. was hit with a lawsuit Thursday by whistleblower Sarah-Wynn Williams, the tech giant’s former director of global public policy who claimed the company undermined US national security to pursue business opportunities in China.

The tech giant has launched an unlawful arbitration enforcement action against Wynn-Williams in retaliation for exposing Meta’s “illegal and indefensible workplace conditions and corporate misconduct,” including through her memoir disclosing sexual harassment at the company, she alleged in a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
