Former president Barack Obama pitched the candidacy of Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman during a rally Saturday in Pittsburgh, in which he also took aim at former president Donald Trump and other election deniers. The appearance was the first of two by Obama in a state with a marquee Senate race. Later Saturday, Obama and President Biden will join Pennsylvania Democrats at a rally in Philadelphia. Fetterman’s opponent, Republican Mehmet Oz, the celebrity physician, is getting help as well, with former president Donald Trump coming for a rally Saturday evening.
