Minimum wage goes up in 2022 – here’s how it’s changed since it was $1 in 1965 - mlive.com

Minimum wage workers in Michigan are getting a raise in 2022.

Starting Jan. 1, minimum wage increases from $9.65 to $9.87 for most workers, thanks to a state law passed in 2018. The law includes annual increases, but there was no hike in 2021 because the annual unemployment rate was above 8.5% in 2020.
