Jeff Day at the Star Tribune reports a Minneapolis architecture firm has been sued for allegedly firing a whistleblower who says he discovered millions of dollars being diverted into a secret bank account.

MPR reports Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey vetoed the city council’s carbon emission fee for major emitters of carbon dioxide. “The city council recently voted to charge what they say are the 36 “largest emitters of carbon dioxide” and other greenhouse gasses, what they are calling a fee of $452 per ton of greenhouse gas emissions, based on a Pollution Control Annual Registration Program joint report.“

Associated Press writes three Minnesota men were convicted in a federal crackdown on gang activities. “Prosecutors said the trio have been members and associates of the Minneapolis Bloods street gang since at least 2020.”
