MOH sanctions six clinics for false claims
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has penalised six clinics for severe financial non-compliance. These clinics will be barred from making claims under CHAS, MediSave, and MediShield Life, effective 24 July.
Life Family Clinic and Loh & Loh clinics made false claims, including non-existent treatments and tampering with patient addresses, according to the MOH.
Due to the fraudulent claims, the clinics' key office holders Dr Lim Kim Show and Dr Moses Loh Jing Loong will lose their MediSave and MediShield Life accreditations.
However, they can still practice as their licenses remain valid with the Singapore Medical Council.
Patients of the affected clinics are advised to visit other accredited facilities.
