MrBeast employee sues, alleges sexual harassment and illegal firing - USA Today

The production company of YouTube mogul MrBeast is being sued by a former employee, who is alleging that she was illegally fired years after she and other female employees were "subjected to sexual harassment."

Lorrayne Mavromatis, who filed the lawsuit on April 22 in a North Carolina federal court, accuses MrBeastYouTube, LLC, and GameChanger 24/7, LLC of firing her in violation of federal law that allows eligible employees to take unpaid and job-protected leave for qualifying family and medical reasons, such as childbirth.

Mavromatis, who was hired by MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, in 2022, said upon her return from maternity leave in 2025, she was fired in less than three weeks and replaced with a man, according to the complaint obtained by USA TODAY.

The firing also occurred after Mavromatis complained about the sexual harassment and the hostile work environment she and other women were experiencing to MrBeast’s Head of Human Resources, who ultimately decided her claims were “unsubstantiated.” Immediately following her complaint in 2023, she was "promptly demoted and transferred to an obscure role known by MrBeast employees as the division where 'careers go to die,'" the lawsuit alleges.
