MS NOW pulled out of President Donald Trump's speech before the UN General Assembly on Tuesday — with anchor Stephanie Ruhle jumping in to drop a scathing rebuttal.
"Time for some fact-checking," Ruhle said, approximately 20 minutes into the president's address. "Let's start with the president claiming that he has settled eight wars around the world. And in that same speech, he's contemplating annihilation of an entire country, which would be a war crime."

Ruhle proceeded to tackle several economic boasts Trump made in the speech — including his oft-repeated claim that foreign entities have pledged north of $20 trillion in investments into the country.
"He said there are $21 trillion in commitments from foreign entities to the United States," Ruhle said. "That's factually incorrect. On the White House's own website, it says $11.2 trillion. And what's very important, these are pledges. None of them are binding commitments, so it's unclear if any of them will actually see any follow-through."
Ruhle also tackled Trump's claims about traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
"The president said, as it relates to the Strait of Hormuz, 'we're taking 22, 25, 30, 32, and 37 ships out, respectively, every single day, every single night.' That's what the president said," Ruhle noted. "That is not true. A total of 17 commodity vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend. That is down from 37 one week earlier. That is reporting from Reuters."
