Attorney Mark Gagliardi told GoLocal that since he filed the lawsuit this week on behalf of Alison McDaniel alleging she was repeatedly sexually harassed by Paul Mihailides, the CEO of The Preserve Sporting Club, a number of other women have come forward with similar allegations.
“The bottom line is that this case is not going away, and the legal exposure to The Preserve is staggering,” said Gagliardi, one of the state’s top employment attorneys,

“In fact, since this lawsuit was filed, two more victims have reached out to my client and it is likely that more lawsuits will be filed against The Preserve in the near future. Accordingly, because of Mr. Mihailides’ pattern and practice of sexually harassing women in the workplace, there is an outstanding chance that a jury awards punitive damages against The Preserve, which is unlimited under Rhode Island law,” Gagliardi said.
He added, “Ms. McDaniel remains un-wavered in her resolve to protect other women from enduring the same abuse she suffered. She has chosen to bravely stand alongside Alexandra Beahm and the other women to create a barrier of protection for all women who work at The Preserve.”
