Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan has strongly criticised the police's behaviour in the Mustafa Amir murder case, accusing them of coercing his son, Sahir Hasan, into giving a forced statement under duress.
The senior actor described this act as a "well-planned conspiracy," claiming that his son had been taken hostage to manipulate his testimony.
During a press conference, Sajid Hasan revealed that his son was physically abused in an attempt to make him provide a statement of the police's choosing. He questioned whether these repeated attempts on his family were just coincidences or part of a larger conspiracy.
This incident marks the second time the police raided his house, he added, also mentioning that a similar attempt occurred four years ago but he won that case.
After the investigation into the Mustafa Amir murder case, several names were implicated, including Sahir Hasan, who was accused of selling drugs to Mustafa and Armaghan.
However, Sajid Hasan firmly stated that his son was innocent and suggested that some influential figures might be indirectly or directly involved in the matter.
Sajid Hasan also denied the accusation that Armaghan was the killer, calling it a fabricated story. He stressed that the real facts were being distorted to create a false narrative.
