“My main job is working with whistleblowers.” In this episode of the Whistleblower of the Week podcast, FBI whistleblower Jane Turner talks with Mark Worth, Executive Director of Whistleblowing International and the European Center for Whistleblower Rights. Worth, also WNN’s international correspondent, talks with Turner about his long-standing work on whistleblower issues. He discusses his beginnings working for various advocacy organizations and his current work supporting whistleblowers and advocating for stronger whistleblower legislation all over the world.
Worth and Turner discuss attitudes towards whistleblowers in Europe, how the media has covered whistleblowers and their stories, and current events in the whistleblower world. Worth talks about upcoming projects he’s working on and closes out the podcast by telling Turner what set him on this journey helping whistleblowers all day, every day.
