N3B Los Alamos Issues Statement Following Filing Of Second Amended Complaint In Lawsuit Filed By Terminated Employees - Los Alamos Reporter

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) today responded to a story published Tuesday by the Los Alamos Reporter on the filing of a second amended complaint in a lawsuit initiated in January in U.S. District Court by Santa Fe attorney Trent Howell on behalf of terminated N3B employees. N3B External Affairs & Communications Deputy Director Donavan Mager said in an email that N3B is aware of the second amended complaint filed against N3B and its parent companies.

“As a matter of policy, we do not comment on the specifics of pending litigation. N3B is steadfast in its commitment to the highest standards of operational integrity, ethical conduct and compliance in all aspects of our critical mission for the U.S. Department of Energy,” he said. ” We are proud of our work and the dedicated professionals who execute it safely and effectively every day. We will vigorously defend against these allegations and will address this matter through the appropriate legal channels.”
