Singer and former Bigg Boss OTT contestant Neha Bhasin has sparked a fresh controversy by accusing influencer and designer Nancy Tyagi of falsely claiming that her Cannes 2025 outfit was self-made. On 18 May, Neha took to Instagram to point out that Nancy’s corset, worn on the red carpet, looked strikingly similar to one Neha had worn months earlier.Neha wrote, ‘This corset looks too familiar hmmmm. Just wondering,’ and later posted another story saying, ‘Same same,’ along with a picture of herself in the same outfit.

Things escalated when it came to light that Nancy may not have stitched the outfit herself, as she had claimed in an emotional Instagram post. Surbhi Gupta, a boutique owner in Bandra, told The Free Press Journal that Nancy had bought the corset dress for Rs 25,000 before heading to Cannes.‘She may have added a cape to make it look different, but the main dress is definitely ours.
