Nevada minimum wage rising again this summer - KRNV

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The minimum wage in Nevada will be rising once again this summer.

The Office of the Labor Commissioner says the wage increase will go into effect on July 1.

A state law passed in 2019 increases the hourly minimum wage in increments of 75 cents every year through 2024.

Nevada has a two-tier minimum wage system based on qualifying health benefits. For employees who are offered qualifying health benefits, their minimum wage rate will be $9.50 per hour starting in July.

For those not offered benefits, the wage will be $10.50 per hour.

The increase will also raise daily overtime rates, except for those who are exempt from overtime requirements.
