NAHARLAGUN, Apr 4 : The Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee(PAJSC) has questioned the summoning of whistleblower Gyamar Padang by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the APPSC paper leakage issue.
Speaking to reporters, Member PAJSC Tadak Nalo alleged that authorities are harassing Padang through ED by summoning him at Guwahati. "Everyone knows that his health condition is not good. PAJSC has been demanding ED against those officials who are in the suspect list of APPSC paper leak issue, but surprisingly authorities have instead summoned the whistleblower," he said.
We have asked for CBI/ED against Nipo Nabam, the then Chairman APPSC,and the State government in the last meeting held on February 18 last stated that ED will investigate the case, but till date there is no update against Nipo Nabam, slammed Nalo.
On our 13 points demand, we have demanded a reward for Gyamar Padang, but there is no update. Moreover, like CBI office in Itanagar, ED should also establish an office here so that there should not be any hindrance in the investigation, Nalo said.
During the last meeting with the Chief Minister, the committee clearly demanded that no case must be filed against any members but surprisingly we have been informed that there are five different cases registered against me and Techi Puru, he further added.
