    The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) today published a Decision Notice against Al Ramz Capital LLC (Al Ramz), a DFSA Recognised Member, recording a DFSA finding that Al Ramz failed to report suspicious transactions and imposing a financial penalty of USD 25,000 (AED 91,813) on Al Ramz. Al Ramz disputes the DFSA’s findings and has referred the Decision Notice to the Financial Markets Tribunal (FMT). The DFSA’s decision is therefore provisional and reflects the DFSA’s current understanding of Al Ramz’s conduct.

    (Luxembourg, 24 January 2025) – The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in Bucharest (Romania) has filed an indictment against two defendants – an individual and one company – for fraud and forgery related to two agricultural projects in Giurgiu County, financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), with a total value of over 2.1 million.

    The European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), in collaboration with the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) and Moldovan Customs, delivered a high-level training session in Chisinau aimed at enhancing Moldova’s capacity to combat the circumvention of EU sanctions. The training, held on 22 January at the Moldovan Customs Training Centre, brought together experts and officials to address the challenges of enforcing international sanctions.
