Small Business Resource Association

Cynthia Seabourne has been named director of business development for the Small Business Resource Association (SBRA).

In this role, Seabourne will be responsible for communications with SBRA members, membership recruiting, the promotion of SBRA member services and business networking. She previously served as MAW communications director of administrative services.

Seabourne has been a Notary Public since 2016. She studied at Berks Technical Institute as a paralegal and holds certifications in accident/health life insurance and fixed annuities. She is also a financial peace coach and advisor.

Alvernia University

Alvernia University has named Dr. Leamor Kahanov as the new senior vice president and provost responsible for serving as the chief academic officer overseeing all academic operations, career development, IT, the library and several other important administrative areas, effective August 1.

Kahanov has more than 25 years of higher education experience as a provost, dean and professor. She has extensive experience in revising general education essential learning outcomes, creating faculty mentorship programs, academic affairs and institutional strategic planning, and developing academic programs.

She previously served as provost and vice president for academic affairs and the chief academic officer for Stockton University. In this role, she had oversight of the seven academic schools and all academic support services. Prior to...
