Nick Carter says he has a dozen witnesses to debunk claims he sexually assaulted a woman in 2001 - Daily Mail

Nick Carter has claimed he has witnesses who will debunk a woman's claim he sexually assaulted her back in the early 2000s.

The Backstreet Boy, 43, has filed new legal documents claiming to have a dozen witnesses who will swear the alleged victim's charges are 'factually impossible,' according to TMZ.

Shannon Ruth filed suit December 2, 2022, for $30,000 in damages, accusing the Larger Than Life singer of taking her to his bus, plying her with alcohol, forcing her to perform oral sex and then raping her. The alleged incident occurred in 2001, when she was 17 and underaged.

Ruth also claims she contracted sexual transmitted infection, Human papillomavirus infection (HPV) from the alleged assault, having been a virgin beforehand.

The woman claimed she met Nick while standing in line to get autographs.

She has also declared that she is autistic and has cerebral palsy.

For his part, the Billboard Music Award winner contends there was no autograph line on the day in question and that fans had no access to the busses and that fans, security personnel and a talent manager will testify to that.

The legal docs also claim a person, who was a friend of the accuser at the time, said she does not have autism or cerebral palsy.
