N.J. school district used bad data to get more state aid, ex-school officials say - NJ.com

Two former Pleasantville school officials claim they were pushed out of their jobs after warning that flawed student data was being used to inflate state funding in the Atlantic County district.

Daniel McDonald, Pleasantville’s former assistant student data coordinator, and Mala Samaroo, the district’s former director of information systems, filed whistleblower lawsuits in June in Atlantic County Superior Court.
