Nonni’s Foods LLC must face proposed class claims alleging it misled “Limone Biscotti” buyers into thinking the crisp, twice-baked cookies have more flavor from lemons than they really do, a federal court said Wednesday.
Lisa Bardsley plausibly alleged consumers could be fooled about the source of lemon flavor, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said, allowing claims under New York consumer protection law.
