A former Novo Nordisk Inc. employee failed to convince a California appellate court Monday to revive a lawsuit in which she alleged she developed a disability due to harassment and retaliation from her manager, and that the company refused to accommodate that disability.

Nicole Hermanson, who worked as a diabetes care specialist sued Novo Nordisk and her former manager, Sarah McLeish, alleging 10 causes of action related to their decision to fire her and their conduct before her termination.
