Registered nurses and the medical groups accused of underpaying them won final court approval for a $1.8 million settlement that resolves their wage-and-hour dispute.
Hourly registered nurses, who performed nursing services for Menorah Medical Center, an acute care hospital located in a Kansas City suburb, can recover under the settlement, which includes $540,000 in attorneys’ fees for their counsel, the US District Court for the District of Kansas said.
