Nursing Home Care Management Inc. is on the hook for more than $7 million after the Labor Department secured summary judgment in a wage-and-hour dispute.

The home health firm, doing business as Prestige Home Care Agency, must pay more than $3.5 million in back wages and an equal amount in liquidated damages because there’s no genuine dispute of material fact as to whether it failed to comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act’s overtime provisions, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said.

Philadelphia-based Prestige employs approximately 220 people total in Pennsylvania, according to Bloomberg Law data. ...
