(NewsNation) — Sarah Kellen, a longtime personal assistant to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, testified before the House Oversight Committee Thursday for the first time and delivered investigators a significant new lead.

Kellen told lawmakers she had been “sexually and psychologically abused” by the late financier for over a decade. She also provided three new names of alleged abusers in Epstein’s network, previously unknown to the committee.

Committee Chairman James Comer called it “by far the most substantive, productive interview” the panel has conducted, describing Kellen as “very brave” for coming forward.

Kellen was named as a “potential co-conspirator” in Epstein’s 2007 nonprosecution agreement, and committee members remain divided over whether to treat her as a victim, an accomplice or both.
