About 1,600 New York City parking attendants, cashiers, and other parking garage workers will recoup some allegedly unpaid wages and overtime after a federal judge in Manhattan signed off on their $1.2 million settlement.

Named plaintiff Carlos Martin de la Cruz led the workers in alleging Manhattan Parking Group LLC and related entities who collectively own and operate more than 100 parking facilities in the New York City area routinely had them work five to 10 extra hours per week without pay, sometimes costing them overtime as well as straight time wages.
