Monday, April 17, 2023: OFCCP Released the First 20,000 EEO-1 Files to The Public

EXCLUSIVE: OFCCP Has Also Proposed A Schedule To Resolve Contractor Objections To Disclosure

The most substantive action pertaining to the ongoing Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) saga embroiling OFCCP occurred last Monday, as OFCCP produced the first set of Type 2 (consolidated) EEO-1 Report data to the FOIA requester: The Center for Investigative Reporting (“CIR”). As readers are aware, in 2019 CIR reporter Will Evans submitted a FOIA request seeking Type 2 (consolidated) EEO-1 reports from 2016 to 2020 for all federal contractors and first-tier subcontractors.
