Tuesday, March 28, 2023: Senate HELP Committee Advanced Nominations for Kotagal as EEOC Commissioner & Looman as WHD Head

The U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (“HELP”) Committee voted to advance the nominations of Kalpana Kotagal, for Commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and Jessica Looman to be the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Wage and Hour Division (WHD) Administrator. During the same hearing, the committee advanced four other nominees.
