The legal battle involving tech billionaire and Ohio State University donor Ratmir Timashev's AI startup is escalating, with three former executives adding defamation claims as the company launches a countersuit in federal court.
In addition to earlier allegations that Timashev lured them from lucrative jobs to his startup OH.io Ventures and later fired them to avoid sharing future profits, former executives Jeff Schumann, Kevin Colon and J. Seth Metcalf now accuse Timashev and others of "engag[ing] in a warpath" against them, according to a complaint alleging defamation filed May 13 in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.
