The Ohio Republican says the whistleblower who claims Sen. Adam Schiff approved leaking classified information is "credible," and points to a history of similar actions by Democrats to discredit political opponents.
Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan is urging a whistleblower who claims Democratic California Sen. Adam Schiff approved leaking classified information to contact his staff, stating that he believes the individual is "credible" because the alleged behavior fits a familiar "pattern."
During an appearance on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle," Jordan discussed newly released FBI documents that detail the whistleblower's claims.
The documents, obtained by Just The News, allege that Schiff, when he was a member of the House in 2017, authorized the leak of classified intelligence to damage then-President Donald Trump. The whistleblower, a long-time Democratic staffer on the House Intelligence Committee, reportedly told the FBI that Schiff stated the information would be used to "indict President TRUMP."
"I hope the whistleblower will come forward and talk to our staff," Jordan said. "We’ve dealt with whistleblowers several, you know, dozens over the last several years. I hope they’ll come forward, and we can talk to him."
