NEW YORK—June 28, 2023—For the ninth year in a row, Vault’s annual survey of law firm associates has named O’Melveny as one of the nation’s Top Three “Best Law Firms To Work For”—an industry record.
O’Melveny again achieved outstanding recognition throughout the latest Vault survey, claiming the #2 spot in the “Best Law Firms to Work For” category, while also securing #1 rankings in the “Firm Culture” and “Wellness” subcategories. These quality-of-life rankings reflect O’Melveny’s continuing, holistic efforts to understand and support the needs and goals of all its people.
Vault also ranked O’Melveny #2 in the “Best Firm for Overall Diversity” category and #1 in the “Racial & Ethnic Diversity” subcategory. This marks the seventh straight year that O’Melveny has finished in the Top Three for “Overall Diversity”—an important measure of the firm’s commitment to underrepresented groups, including women, racial and ethnic minorities, sexual orientation and gender identity minorities, and people with disabilities.
Vault’s rankings are particularly meaningful because they are based on feedback from associates themselves. More than 23,000 associates from nearly 200 law firms participated in the 2024 survey, rating their own employers on a scale of 1 to 10 in a variety of areas.
