Goldberg Segalla added Bei Yang as an associate in the workers’ compensation group in Newark. Yang concentrates her practice on counseling and defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, Yang gained experience working on civil litigation defense for public entities in New Jersey, and with the Employment Law Division of the New York City Department of Social Services Office of Legal Affairs. Yang earned her bachelor’s and a master of laws degree from the Hunan University of Science and Engineering College of Law, a master of laws degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, and her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. While attending the University of Tennessee College of Law, she worked as a student attorney in the Business Law and Trademark Clinic, providing trademark advice and services to independent inventors and small businesses before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
