Oregon DOR Publishes Additional FAQs on Employer Tax Credit for Agriculture Worker Overtime Pay - Bloomberg Tax

The Oregon Department of Revenue (DOR) Oct. 18 published answers to additional frequently asked questions relating to the employer tax credit for agriculture worker overtime pay, for individual income and corporate income tax purposes. The information includes: 1) employers using the North American Industry Classification System codes 111 for crop production or 112 for animal production and aquaculture that paid overtime wages to agriculture employees working in the state are eligible for the credit; 2) the credit is available for six years, beginning 2023 through 2028; 3) a refundable credit is a prepayment of tax, whereby any excess amount is ...
