Broadcaster Park Na-rae, who faces allegations of manager power abuse and illegal medical procedures, released a statement after completing her first police investigation, which lasted approximately 7 hours and 40 minutes.
Park Na-rae arrived at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station around 3 p.m. on the 20th as a suspect to face inquiries related to charges including special injury and violation of the Medical Service Act. She left the station around 10:40 p.m. Wearing a black coat and glasses, Park Na-rae appeared haggard from the lengthy interrogation.
When questioned by reporters, Park Na-rae stated, “I cooperated sincerely with the investigation and answered all questions truthfully.”
In response to whether she admitted to the manager power abuse allegations, she said, “This will be clarified through the investigation.”
Regarding the question, “Did you throw a glass of alcohol at your managers?” she replied, “I cooperated sincerely with today’s investigation. I will correct and plan to correct any untrue claims.”
She added, “I apologize for causing concern again due to my uncomfortable actions,” and bowed her head.
When asked which parts of the former managers’ claims she considered false, she responded cautiously, “I believe this will be revealed through the investigation. It is a sensitive matter for me to discuss.”
To the question, “Do you have anything to say to your former managers?” she briefly answered, “No.”
