Park Na-rae's Agency Denies Abuse Claims, Threatens Legal Action - 조선일보

The agency of broadcaster Park Na-rae (40), who faces allegations of "power abuse" against managers, issued an official statement on the 5th stating, "Unnecessary misunderstandings and pressure have continued due to claims that deviate from the facts," adding, "We will take necessary legal actions after reviewing the case." Park was formally booked by police on the same day over charges including aggravated assault.

AN Park, Park’s one-person agency, stated in its official position, "Regarding recent media reports based on claims by former managers, we are verifying the exact facts," and apologized, "We deeply regret the confusion and worry caused by the delayed response."

AN Park explained, "Two employees who worked with Park for approximately 1 year and 3 months recently resigned, and we paid their severance pay as required," but added, "After receiving their severance, they demanded an additional 10% of the company’s previous year’s sales."

It continued, "As time passed, they added new claims and continuously pressured Park and the agency, with their demands growing to hundreds of millions of Korean won," and stated, "Park has suffered significant mental stress and shock due to the sudden resignations, baseless claims, increasing financial demands, and media pressure."
